I was so happy I was able to make reservations online. My French is very limited. I went through social media trying to decide on places for dinner. This place seemed to pop up many different times as people’s favorite meal. Once we walked in the energy from the staff was excellent. I had my prepared phrases to order but my waiter spoke perfect English and was forgiving at my attempts of French. We started off with one of the salad appetizers and it was tasty. We ordered two of the Filet De Boeuf, Sauce Au Poivre and the Poulet Fermier, Girolles & Jus De Viande. These were excellent! We ended the meal with the Profiterole, Glace Vanille Maison, Sauce Chocolat & Amandes. This would’ve been the perfect ending. That ended up happening as I was exiting when I saw one of the biggest icons in music walk in for dinner! I will definitely return!

Absolutely fantastic bistro in Paris. The food was simply brilliant. The quality of ingredients used and the incredible respectful manner how it was prepared was evident. I had a peep into the kitchen and take my hat off for the tiny space. They are magicians! The menu perfect size. The service amazing, personable and very efficient. The atmosphere amazing! Yes it’s a small restaurant it cannot seat more than 40ish covers at a squeeze and it was full all the time. They take reservations until 10:45 which is remarkable therefore it is a buzzy, if you want a romantic quiet dinner not the place for you. I call this restaurant romantic as it’s cozy and the food is my love language. The price, I noticed people say it’s pricey. I disagree completely. Compared to the mediocre bistrots and brasseries I visited the past week in France this is priced perfect. The food and incredible service is priced just right! Wishing the team and owners at Bistrot Dea Tournelles all the best for their future.

Short story short, the kitchen was closing in 5 and my brother & I were running 15 minutes late. I thought it’d be a reach to call and ask if we could place the order through the phone, but to my pleasant surprise, Taisa (I hope I’m remembering it right) said of course. Automatically the best service I’ve had in Paris. Thank you ❤️ 5 minutes in & we had our Filet de Boeuf au Poivre, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and the Ravioli with mushrooms and ricotta in front of us — all of which I’d order again. I compared the pepper sauce with La Petite Chaise, tbh I think this one wins. It paired perfectly with a 2017 Faugères. The cordon bleu tasted like a grilled ham and cheese 🔥 You know it’s a good meal when you don’t have to ask for salt. Regretfully, we skipped dessert, but I heard the crème brûlée is out of this world. No complaints here. The definition of cozy & by far one of the best traditional French bistros. Love scale: 🍄🍄🍄🍄 Occasion: With friends, family, date night Follow @sabrique_ on IG for more from Paris and beyond

The food was very good. We had the steak both of us. Mine was without a sauce and it was very tender juicy. The only problem that I feel from the restaurant is that the crowd is only American, It feels a little touristy but it was with general notes despite a long way for a reservation it’s a good place.

My husband, daughter, and I came for dinner on a Sunday evening. We were kindly welcomed and well taken care of. We had the mushrooms, artichokes, and salad with Parmesan to start with. They were all delicious. We each had the steak with peppercorn sauce for dinner, again excellent, with mashed potatoes and spinach as sides, which were also very good. For dessert my daughter and I had crème brûlée and my husband had the tarte Tatin…we loved them! Lastly, THE BREAD…dreamy!!! After being unable to get a reservation, the last time we were in Paris a year ago, we were happy to be able to go this year, and look forward to our return the next time we’re here, it is that good! Thank you to the wonderful chefs and staff! P.s. There are non-alcoholic drink options for those who do not drink.
