Authentic Stories from Diners
I had the best meal of my life here. The duck confit was genuinely the most decadent thing I have ever put in my mouth. The potatoes with the sauce were also amazing. They took Amex. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ll be back, and I’ll shout the good word to everyone I know who finds themselves in Paris.
Food is really great here. Rib steak and confit duck are perfect. We also had some crêpe and brûlée, which we really enjoy. People are kind, and thank you for them providing us with good mint tee free of charge! We had a really joyful time here.
I had the most beautiful evening at Chouchou in Paris with my boyfriend, and I’m still thinking about it days later 🤍 From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt so warm and romantic — soft lighting, elegant décor, and that effortlessly chic Parisian vibe I adore. It felt intimate without being too quiet, lively without being overwhelming… just perfect for a date night. We shared a few dishes and every single one was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in every bite. And the wine selection? Divine. We ordered a bottle recommended by the staff, and it paired so perfectly with our meal. It made the whole evening feel even more special and indulgent. The service was attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. As a woman who really appreciates thoughtful details, I noticed how gracefully everything was handled — from wine pouring to checking in at just the right moment. It was one of those evenings where time slows down, conversations flow easily, and you just feel happy and cared for. I left feeling so content and grateful for such a lovely experience. If you’re looking for a romantic spot in Paris with amazing food, beautiful ambiance, and wonderful service — I truly recommend it. I can’t wait to go back 💕🍷
Great atmosphere- restaurant is full of both tourists and locals alike. So good we have visited twice during our stay (2 ad 1 teen and 1 child) Waiters very friendly, courteous and helpful. Menu has both traditional French and also Moroccan. Large choice and everything cooked fresh. Standard children’s menu as other places, would be nice to see something different. Would recommend and I would gladly return - a great evening had by all. Thank you Chouchou
In the heart of the city, this place is a hidden gem - fair prices for extremely delicious transitional French, and North African cuisine. The duck was crisp and seasoned well, and the cous cous with lamb was a perfect flavor combination, and the staff (anis) was super friendly and helpful to show us exactly how to eat it. Also historically known for serving chouffe, a delicious Belgian beer that should not be missed!
